Steve Clayman is Director of Energy Initiatives for the Thermal Insulation Association of Canada. The program will provide an overview of NECB2015, ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED initiatives all relating to proper design and  application of Mechanical Insulation. The Water/Energy Nexus – showing the best improvement for a DHW System would be a combination of improved insulation and reduced circulation flow rate. Financial returns, 
energy loss, emission reduction are all addressed. Practical applications and industry best practices are also outlined. 

Mr. Clayman has more than 30 years’ experience in the industrial/commercial mechanical insulation field. He is an ASHRAE member. Has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), Canadian Energy Alliance, and the International District Energy Association. ASHRAE Toronto Chapter GGAC Committee Chair.
