ASHRAE BC is proud to welcome ASHRAE Society Past President and Distinguished Lecturer Darryl Boyce, to our March meeting. Darryl will be focusing on the critical issues for the design team as well as the effective transition to operations. The design of new buildings and building retrofits is critical to the ongoing operation of the building to meet the indoor environment and energy/carbon emission targets. Operational performance is an important process in the management of a building.
Darryl Boyce was previously assistant to the vice president in facilities management at Carleton University in Ontario. He is an Engineering graduate from the University of Alberta. Is the recipient of ASHRAE’s Distinguished Service Award, Exceptional Service Award and Regional Award of Merit. Darryl has held ASHRAE Society level leadership roles on the Board of Directors and on many standing committees and technical committees.
