ASHRAE BC welcomes Morgan Copeland for a presentation and discussion on heat pump compressor technologies, the refrigerants used and regulations surrounding WP requirements. We will cover Canadian market-specific regulations while circling back to heat pumps and their performance and uses in current commercial/industrial, campuses and data center applications throughout North America. Examples of successful installations will be discussed and a look at what is being investigated for the future.
Morgan Copeland is a passionate advocate for sustainable energy solutions. Over the past decade, Copeland has held various roles within the mechanical/HVAC manufacturing industry on the industrial and commercial side. As the manager of heat pumps at Oilin US Morgan is uniquely interested in helping advance adoption of decarbonization technologies through high performance heat pumps.
